Description

The RTN510 is a sub-6G microwave transmission system developed by Huawei. It provides a low-cost PtP or PtMP solution in the context of line of sight (LOS) or non-line of sight (NLOS).

System Components

The RTN510 system consists of the access point (AP) and the remote terminal (RT). The RT is a highly-integrated device using an internal antenna. It receives services from terminals and transmits them to the AP. The AP uses an external antenna. It aggregates services from multiple RTs and transmits them to the upper-layer network.

The RT has two hardware types. One supports only one GE electrical port and the other supports two GE electrical ports. If there is no need to differentiate the two types, they are referred to as RT in a unified manner. If they need to be differentiated, the former is referred to as RT and the latter is referred to as RT II.

Typical Network Application

The RTN510 delivers low-cost, large-bandwidth, and highly reliable video links in the video information site solution.

The PowerCube 500 (PC 500), which is installed at the camera terminal, supplies power to the RT. The RT is used for backhaul of service signals, such as video signals. The AP aggregates service signals from multiple RTs and backhauls them to the control device, thereby achieving multipoint surveillance.

The RT II is mainly used for video backhaul.
